Supporters

The team appreciates all support from the loyal fans. Recently there has been a lot of enquiries from people who want to watch Ice Hockey matches and Inline Hockey matches. Here is some general information about the matches and where to watch them.


General Info

Having vocal supporters gives the team an immense boost so anyone willing to stretch their vocal chords will be particularly welcome! If there is enough interest, it may be possible to arrange some form of group transportation. The Supporter Coordinator can help in this, but the fans are responsible of initial arrangements and contacting the Supporter Coordinator first and early enough so that possibilities could be explored and transport arrangements done. In any case, this is not guaranteed in any way. However, if arranged transport does not materialize, we will be more than grateful of any support who travel on their own. Other University Societies may also be interested in joining in a supporter group for some games. The more the merrier!

Inline Hockey

The easiest way to see the Spitfires play is to come and see the BRHA home games which will be played in the University Old Sports Hall. Details can be found on the Inline Hockey page, BRHA Match Schedule sub page. GBInline home and away games will be played in Bisley, details also available on the Inline Hockey page. Entrance to the arenas where these league games are played will be free of charge.

Ice Hockey

The main interest lies here. The Spitfires will play their home games in Gosport ice rink. Details of the games will appear on the Ice Hockey page. The matches are usually free of charge, and any unlikely entrance fees are announced on the messageboard.
