  • Directions and maps

    Here you can find information on the three main venues where the Spitfires attend matches:

    Where possible, we will try to arrange transport (usually minibuses) from the University of Southampton.

  • Home games

    Ice hockey

    These are held at Basingstoke Ice Rink which is located in (you guessed it), Basingstoke. Warm clothes are recommended as it can get a bit chilly there. Transport is usually arranged from the university Student's Union.

    Inline hockey

    All inline matches are played at the Lord Roberts Centre in Bisley. (See: away games)

    Social inline matches, including friendlies and the infamous 'UK Vs. World' matches) are held in the Old Sports Hall at the University of Southampton.

  • Away games

    Ice hockey

    Unfortunately these matches are spread out across the country and more difficult to attend. We do not usually arrange transport to for fans to away games (though we do make exceptions for our lifelong rivals and neighbours, Portsmouth). Check the fixtures list for dates and locations.

    Inline hockey

    Both away and home games are played at the Lord Roberts Centre in Bisley. Although a bit of a drive (around 45 minutes from Southampton), it is a purpose built and modern rink, well worth seeing.
